TOTAL dependence on GOD

 

Psalm 23:1-3

King James Version

23 The Lord is my shepherd; 

I shall not want.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: 

he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 He restoreth my soul: 

he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness 

for his name's sake.

Do you believe in GOD?

How dependent are you on Him?

Have you given up your will, for His will?

Does it give you great joy to do so?

I hope you're all of the above.

I was Catholic once.

Then I looked into new age.

Until GOD made me born again.

This much I can say, with all of my heart:

Being born again is the answer to all my questions.

For I searched, long and hard, for ultimate answers.

Knowing the WORD of GOD satisfies my soul.

It clarifies everything for me.

Where before, I'd look into my heart, or research what's out there, I found that the Bible holds everything I need to know.

Through the HOLY SPIRIT, things were made clear.

SPIRIT led me to Scripture, and made things easy for me to understand.

Every time I'd have a question, I'd pray to JESUS, and He'd have His SPIRIT lead me to Scripture for an answer.

Knowing about GOD's laws takes fear out of your heart.

You begin to trust, and have total dependence on the LORD.

Once you are born again, and live by the Bible, there is even no question about having TOTAL dependence on GOD.

It becomes a given, a joy, a delight.

Something to look forward to.

Something to share with others.

For when you are joyful, how can you not share what you know?

How can you withhold from others the love GOD feels for us?

How can you not encourage everyone to depend on the LORD alone?

How can you not reassure them that TOTAL dependence on GOD is the only thing there is?

And that the LORD delights in our obedience.

Psalm 147:11

King James Version

11 The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, 

in those that hope in his mercy.

That He is pleased by our faith.

Hebrews 11:6

King James Version

6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: 

for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, 

and that he is a rewarder of them 

that diligently seek him.

That He delights in a grateful heart.

1 Thessalonians 5:18

18 In every thing give thanks: 

for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus 

concerning you.

Lastly, why depend TOTALLY on GOD?

Need comfort, in these crazy times?

True born agains find safety through the LORD.

We are safe, and secure, in His love.

We know His promises.

GOD waits for your SURRENDER

 

Hebrews 12:6-7

King James Version

6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, 

and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

7 If ye endure chastening, 

God dealeth with you as with sons; 

for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

GOD waited for the day I surrendered in 2019.

He had all the time in the world; I didn't.

He made sure the pieces fell into place.

For nothing worked anymore, work-wise, and life-wise.

Those were the days I was totally humbled, repentant, and ready for new instruction.

What was I doing wrong?

Why weren't things working?

Why was success elusive, when it came easily before?

What was I not seeing?

These questions went through my mind, many times, as I kept trying to duplicate former success at work.

As far as I can remember, GOD waited TWICE for me to get my act together.

FIRST, in 2001, when He pulled the plug on all my work, making me go back home, penniless.

SECOND, from 2001 to 2019, when He gave me bits of work to teach, but not to profit.

What I wasn't seeing is that GOD had something else for me.

But He waited till I've tried everything, and failed.

Would GOD have wanted me to be destroyed?

Nope, He had plans for me.

There were blogs to write.

Psalm 118:18

18 The Lord hath chastened me sore: 

but he hath not given me over unto death.

He knew I'd been seeking ULTIMATE truth, almost all my life.

So much so, I'd read every book I can find.

Anything that would speak of the HIGHEST truth.

If I found that, would I have searched so long?

Thus, I kept trying.

GOD watched, in amusement, as I kept going around in circles.

Perhaps, He might have said, "She'll get tired, one day."

This much I can tell you about my "research":

I couldn't seem to take man's word for it.

There was ALWAYS a piece MISSING.

Something that kept the loop open.

So, GOD just waited.

Till I came around.

It was really a coming around, a coming back.

For I was born with no knowledge.

I come back with no knowledge.

Pretty much like an infant.

All previous knowledge had to be left outside His door.

What He was really waiting for, is that I address my sins.

That I acknowledge I was a sinful person, and repent of it.

He was not about to show up, till I knew I was wrong.

Along the lines of what JESUS told Jerusalem:

Matthew 23:39

39 For I say unto you, 

Ye shall not see me henceforth, 

till ye shall say, 

Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

And that I was ready for His instruction.

In our hearts, we all know the sins we've committed.

Or are still committing.

When you become really sick of self, ah, that's revolutionary!

You're ready for REAL change.

It's that surrender GOD waits for.

That aspect of humility, from being humbled.

Even humiliated, at our lack of spiritual knowledge.

GOD wants that knee to bend, before His SON.

Philippians 2:10-11

10 That at the name of Jesus 

every knee should bow, 

of things in heaven, 

and things in earth, 

and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess 

that Jesus Christ is Lord, 

to the glory of God the Father.

I assure you that GOD's hand is in everything.

That our times are in His hand.

With humility, comes TRUE awakening.

And an eagerness for instruction, by the LORD of ALL.

The day GOD makes you born again is the day your life will really change.

You will be a new man in CHRIST.

2 Corinthians 5:17

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, 

he is a new creature: 

old things are passed away; 

behold, 

all things are become new.

You will forgo things of the world.

You will develop spiritual discernment.

Your focus will be on JESUS alone.

That is the right, fertile ground for being taught.

The seeds of His WORD fall on good ground.

Matthew 13:8

8 But other fell into good ground, 

and brought forth fruit, 

some an hundredfold, 

some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

You see, GOD is merciful.

He will allow you to keep doing what you're doing, to see the results of your own efforts, till nothing can come out of it anymore.

By then, you'll be ready for His WORD.

If you so choose.

He's had an eye on you, BEFORE you were even born.

Jeremiah 1:5

5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; 

and before thou camest forth out of the womb 

I sanctified thee, 

and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Sure, we're not prophets, but GOD loves us all.

2 Peter 3:9

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, 

as some men count slackness; 

but is longsuffering to us-ward, 

not willing that any should perish, 

but that all should come to repentance.

I keep writing these same verses, for these bear repetition.

Until it's clearly imprinted upon your heart, and mind, that GOD loves us all.

John 3:16

Romans 8:32

32 He that spared not his own Son, 

but delivered him up for us all, 

how shall he not with him

GOD knows our hearts.

He knows who loves Him.

He knows what you're all about.

He knows when you'll return to Him.

2 Timothy 2:19

19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, 

having this seal, 

The Lord knoweth them that are his. 

And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ 

depart from iniquity.

But we won't know all these things, until GOD makes us born again.

That He may send His SPIRIT, to teach us about JESUS.

Can you see the wonderful relation among the TRIUNE GOD?

Those things you don't really understand, unless GOD makes you born again.

Mercifully, GOD saved me on time.

For, in 14 January 2020, He made me look into the RAPTURE.

And how the times were critical.

GOD has "triggers" in place.

That we may wake up.

All JESUS needed me to know were His EXACT, key phrases:

Matthew 24:40

40 Then shall two be in the field; 

the one shall be taken, 

and the other left.

That was the WAKE up call that put everything in perspective!

The TRUTH I had been waiting for all my life!

The missing piece!

There was surely no time to waste!

Time to study harder, watch, warn, and worship.

Now, that's all I write about.

The ESSENTIAL preparation.

That we be blameless before GOD.

That we may meet JESUS up in the air, worthy of the LORD.

Why is it so important to be part of the RAPTURE?

Why is it so important to be born again?

Why is it so important to know things spiritual?

Why is it so important to surrender to GOD?

Can you survive the Tribulation?

No unbeliever can.
