3 John 2-3

2 Beloved, I wish above all things
that thou mayest prosper and be in health,
even as thy soul prospereth.
3 For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came
and testified of the truth that is in thee,
even as thou walkest in the truth.
What's an anti-boredom measure?
What ensures constant delight in life, work, and activity?
Here's what this born again workman found:
Once you become a worker for CHRIST, you will never be bored again.
Because you are born again, your life will be full, lived, and purposeful.
Your life will have true meaning.
Because now, you know Who to believe in.
You know what to believe in.
You know what work to do.
You know what really matters most.
You are not tied to the world anymore.
You will not have enough hours in the day to serve GOD.
And if that doesn't faze you, then you're a true born again.
Since GOD made me born again -- a little over six years ago -- I had been kept busy.
JESUS did say:
Matthew 9:37-38

37 Then saith he unto his disciples,
The harvest truly is plenteous,
but the labourers are few;
38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest,
that he will send forth labourers
into his harvest.
There were the blogs to create.
The articles to write.
The people to serve.
The missions given me.
But it was all organized by the HOLY SPIRIT.
All I had to do, which I did, before GOD even made me born again, is to refuse to sin anymore.
I honestly believe that was the key to my conversion.
GOD saw the sincerity in my heart to repent, according to His wishes.
He saw I wanted to turn away from sin completely.
But He didn't "reward" me right away.
First, He gave me five months to be absolutely sure this was what I wanted.
Did I really not want to sin anymore?
Or was I to go back to my old ways?
Could I hold my resolve to stay away from sin?
Satisfied I "passed" the five-month "waiting" period, He then made me born again, by making me turn to the Bible right away.
To Bible prophecy yet, mind you!
Here I was, not having touched the Bible, for I didn't know where to begin, or how to go about it, and yet I found myself reading Zechariah -- all 14 chapters of it!
Best yet, I seemed to understand what it was saying.
Only the HOLY SPIRIT can do that for you.
By myself, I couldn't have figured it out.
It was non-stop studies after that.
I found myself taking down notes of important stuff I had to know.
Verses, and such.
For they became my work's "foundation", for all articles to come.
Eventually ending up with notebooks, and every empty page, or sheet of paper, I can write on.
Such was my HUNGER for GOD's TRUTH.
As of today, we have 113 blogs, filled with TONS of articles.
And when I say "we", I mean the HOLY SPIRIT and I.
For I could not have written those, with wit, clarity, and joy, had SPIRIT not given me the prompts, verses, and guidance.
I look back to that body of work, and no way could I have produced all that, SAVE for SPIRIT.
How, then, can I ever be bored again?
SPIRIT kept me mighty busy.
A few hours of sleep is my only rest.
And yes, an occasional sitting down, to rest from errands.
For I do have a day job.
I look with compassion to the "bored".
If they were born again, the world's ways would have lost its hold.
They'd be serving GOD non-stop.
With great fervor, delight, and excitement.
Their lives will take on new meaning.
They will never wonder what to do next.
Their days will be marked by joy, clarity, and purpose.
A born again's life is directed by SPIRIT.
He, alone, tells you what to do, when to do it, how to go about it.
He also directs you who to share the gospel with, and what to share.
He gives all the details you need to know.
Thus, you're never lost for words, or answers.
Especially, it will all be backed by GOD's WORD.
Scripture does the talking.
You become sure your work is useful, and worthwhile.
You begin to have a self-correcting "mechanism" inside you, which is SPIRIT, of course.
Ezekiel 36:27

27 And I will put my spirit within you,
and cause you to walk in my statutes,
and ye shall keep my judgments,
and do them.
Oftentimes, answers to questions, or prayers, are instant.
At other times, you need to wait, and be patient.
But an answer will ALWAYS be forthcoming.
In a way you can understand, and give GLORY to GOD for.
This particular verse guides me, each time I pray, not asking for wealth or riches, but praying to understand something:
1 John 5:14

14 And this is the confidence that we have in him,
that, if we ask any thing according to his will,
he heareth us:
-- Source: WHAT makes GOD answer a PRAYER?
That's how you know you're doing things right.
It always has to be ALIGNED with GOD's WILL.
That's actually what you pray for -- to know GOD's WILL.
If you can accept that, then you're on your way to peace.
And lots of fun, joy, delight, and purpose.
You will never fight GOD again.
And yes, you will never be bored again.
You will have the most exciting time of your life.
Now, you know what GOD wants.
And it's not what you want.
But what He wants.
And you'll never be in "want".
Matthew 6:8

8 Be not ye therefore like unto them:
for your Father knoweth
what things ye have need of,
before ye ask him.
Your heart will sing praises, and dance in delight.
Knowing you SERVE the GLORIOUS GOD.
The struggle ends.
Now, you can really work, serving GOD, and others.
For there's no more self to deal with.
The battle has ended.
