Entering the NARROW GATE

 

JESUS said:

Matthew 7:13-14 

King James Version

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: 

for wide is the gate, 

and broad is the way, 

that leadeth to destruction, 

and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, 

and narrow is the way, 

which leadeth unto life, 

and few there be that find it.

What can I say about my journey into CHRIST?

Those verses are true.

It's a narrow gate, alright.

Many years ago, the LORD already showed me in a dream how it was going to be for me.

In that dream, I saw precarious, exceedingly narrow stone steps, cantilevered against a wall, with a WHITE dove painted on it. 

It was so narrow, to be able to climb, you had to put one foot in front of the other.

There was no railing, only the wall to lean on to.

And yet, atop the stairs, up in the landing, a doorway was filled with golden LIGHT!

I knew, then, that it was going to be that way for me.

Tough, but I'll get there!

Until you become born again in CHRIST, you won't understand why your life is the way it is.

I was given "clues" and "prompts" along the way.

But it was only when GOD made me born again, did the pieces of my life began to fit together.

Only then did it make a cohesive whole.

Before that, worldly stuff kept me occupied.

Income, survival, and all.

The stuff humans are occupied with.

When you become born again, only JESUS will matter.

Only His teachings will be followed.

His teachings will rule your life.

And your life will make sense.

The joy will be immeasurable.

You will have become GOD's own!

A GOOD day to be BORN AGAIN

 

1 Peter 1:23

23 Being born again, 

not of corruptible seed, 

but of incorruptible, 

by the word of God, 

which liveth and abideth for ever.

Today is a good day, to be born again.

Right this moment.

So the SPIRIT of GOD can start instructing you, on all things JESUS.

Why is it so important that we know about Jesus?

Because everything was created by Him, for Him.

John 1:3

3 All things were made by him; 

and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Colossians 1:16-17

16 For by him were all things created, 

that are in heaven, 

and that are in earth, 

visible and invisible, 

whether they be thrones, 

or dominions, 

or principalities, 

or powers: 

all things were created by him, 

and for him:

17 And he is before all things, 

and by him all things consist.

Because He is the beloved SON of GOD.

Matthew 17:5

5 While he yet spake, 

behold, 

a bright cloud overshadowed them: 

and behold a voice out of the cloud, 

which said, 

This is my beloved Son, 

in whom I am well pleased; 

hear ye him.

Because He loved us so much, He died on the cross for us.

Colossians 1:14

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, 

even the forgiveness of sins:

Because He will return for His faithful, on a day GOD chooses.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven 

with a shout, 

with the voice of the archangel, 

and with the trump of God: 

and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain 

shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, 

to meet the Lord in the air: 

and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Because the KINGDOM of GOD is at hand.

Mark 1:15

The time is fulfilled, 

and the kingdom of God is at hand: 

repent ye,

Because there is nothing else that matters, but JESUS.

Colossians 1:18

18 And he is the head of the body,

the firstborn from the dead; 

that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Because the FULLNESS of GOD dwells in JESUS.

Colossians 1:19

19 For it pleased the Father 

that in him should all fulness dwell;

Because JESUS is the WORD of GOD.

John 1:1

and the Word was with God, 

and the Word was God.

Because the WORD is full of grace and truth.

John 1:14

and dwelt among us, 

(and we beheld his glory,

full of grace and truth.

Because the WORD is all that will remain.

Luke 21:33

Because the WORD is eternal life.

John 17:3

3 And this is life eternal, 

that they might know thee the only true God,

 and Jesus Christ, 

whom thou hast sent.

Today is a good day to be born again.

So we may enter the kingdom of God.

John 3:5-7

5 Jesus answered, 

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, 

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, 

he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; 

and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, 

Ye must be born again.
